Island Hopping

Island Hopping is a tour to some great island around Langkawi ... it will be a great experience and beautiful island formation and sight to see

Pulau Dayang Bunting

Located 17.6 km from Kuah, this island is the second largest island within the archipelago. The "pregnant maiden" name is inspired by the legends which surround the lake (known as Lake Guillemard or Pregnant Maiden Lake) or by the physical appearance of the terrain of the island itself which resembles the belly of pregnant woman.

The legend that the lake bestows fertility, although not scientifically proven, only
enchance the mystery that surrounds the island.
Mangrove swamps dominate the perimeter of the island, while rainforests reign supreme inland.
The bird and insect population are high, with over 90 species of birds including hornbill,
kingfisher,drongo, woodpecker and brahmani kite.

Pulau Beras Basah (Island Hopping)

Pulau Beras Basah is probably the best island hopping destination that is easily accessible
from most jump-off points on the main island.
Besides the inviting powdery-white sandy beach and the lush verdant backdrop, the waters
around Pulau Beras Basah also offer other interesting propositions. This includes the school
of playful dolphins (estimated to be about 50 at the last count) and the hundreds of eagles,
which are so used to being fed by the boatmen as a show for the gawking throngs of tourists.
The dolphins are quite elusive and make  their appearance only occasionally.

Pulau Singa Besar (Island Hopping)

The name means "island of the big lion" although physically there is no resemblance with it.
Located 17 km from Kuah, Singa Besar Island is nestled between the smaller island of
Beras Basah to the west and bigger island of Dayang Bunting to the east.
The name came from the legend that this was the nest of pet lion of giant guardian
spirit that kept watch over Langkawi Islands.

At low tide, parts of the coral bed of this island is exposed. Athough rich in coral beds,
some of the reefs are dead due to muddy sediments brought by currents from Straits of Mallaca.
However, there are also signs of coral regeneration in some places. Some 28 species
belonging to 24 genera have been noted, with Pectinia and Mycedium species predominating.

Crocodile Cave (Mangrove Tour)

This cave is unique as Kilim River actually flows right through it, navigable by small boat
at low tide. View the limestone formations and colonies of bats although the crocodile as the
name suggested no longer lurk.

Eagle Feeding (Mangrove Tour)

Eagle-Feeding is one of the must-do things in Langkawi. It will be your best magical
moment, ever! Where else on earth that you can cast your magic and summon the wild
eagles to you?

Bat Caves (Mangrove Tour)

Named after its inhabitants, the Malaysian fuit bats, this cave is located along the
Kilim River. Accessible only by boat, you can then walk along a wooden platform through a
mangrove swamp, leading directly to the cave. The stalactites and stalagmites are of gigantic
proportions, forming weird figures reminiscent of other-worldly creatures.

Mangroove Tour

Langkawi offers some truly unforgettable sights and experiences on this
tour to the Kilim Nature Park; an escape to another world. Spread over an
area of 100 sq km, the Kilim Nature Park features a beautiful mix of
well-protected green mangrove forests, isolated white beaches and blue
lagoons. As you cruise down the calm, winding river, you will observe the
wonders of the park's marine ecosystem, its flora and fauna and the natural
inhabitants such as the over-hanging 'Bogak Trees', Brown Eagles,
Tree Crabs, Monitor Lizards and Macaques.

Also enjoy the scenic and spectacular views of unique limestone rock
formations emerging from the floor of the mangrove swamp and seabed.
These fascinating geological wonders have been given various names
such as the Temple Of Borobodur, the Elephant Stone and the
Hanging Gardens. Explore the Gua Kelawar (Bat Cave) and seeped in
fabled tales of mysteries and romance. Finally, enjoy watching the farming
of fish in specialised farms in the open sea.
